Dear Sir/Madam,

Subject: BSM / ASEAN Pharma Business Delegation to Philippines (11^th to 14^th March 2015), Cambodia(14^th-18^th March) and Vietnam (Expo and BSM) during (19th to 20th March 2015).

We have pleasure in informing you that PHARMEXCIL is organizing a Business Delegation to Philippines, Cambodia & Vietnam (Expo and BSM) during 11^th to 21st March 2015.

The itinerary of the delegation is as follows: 

The delegation is proposed to visit these countries as an approved activity under the MDA activity of the Council. The export figures of these 3 (three) countries for the last two years are given below for your kind information and to assess the export potential in these countries:

During Financial year 2013-14 India has exported USD 212.18 million worth of Pharmaceuticals to Vietnam, followed by 139 USD mn to Philippines and USD 35 mn to Cambodia. The exports to these countries are showing good growth and there is also good scope for exploring these markets.

In view of the above, we invite applications from our members to participate in this delegation. The BSMs/Delegation visits will be organized in selected locations in these countries. While these locations will be decided on the basis of the recommendations from our Missions abroad, we also solicit your suggestions in this regard. We also invite suggestions with regard to the specific steps or activities that we need to take to make such an activity achieve fruitful results.

Note: (EXPO at Vietnam): As a value addition for the Delegates participating in the trade delegation to Philippines, Cambodia and Vietnam, Council is organizing a separate Expo and BSM coinciding with delegation visit at Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam during 19^th-20^th March 2015.For those who wish to participate in this Expo and BSM, delegates have to pay Rs.30,000/- towards stall and Rs.20,000/- for Common Space (in addition to the delegation participation fee of Rs.40,000).  This does not include Travel and accommodation charges.

Following are the points which may please be noted:

• Approximate cost of the tour would be around Rs. 81,000/-  by Silk Air, Philippines, Vietnam, Singapore Airlines and Rs.70,000/ by Malaysian Airlines & Vietnam Airways. We would be intimating the Hotel charges in our next circular.
• Members whose export turnover during previous year is less than Rs.30.00 crores are eligible for MDA subject to the other guidelines of MDA scheme.  In this case, 100% economy class excursion airfare will be reimbursed, subject to a maximum of Rs.0.70 lakhs per member.

• Interested members may send their Company Profile along with the name of the delegates Other details like venue etc will be communicated to interested members in due course.
• Your application for MDA should reach us 15 days before departure for the delegation.

We now request the members to confirm their interest to participate in the event by sending the above requested information along with non-refundable commitment/delegation fees of Rs. 40,000/-(Rupees Forty Thousand only). This amount is refundable only if the event is cancelled/postponed due to unavoidable circumstances at the instance of our Missions/Council.

As we require sufficient time to organize an event of this kind, we request you to kindly confirm your participation with the commitment fees of Rs.40,000/- and the duly filled-in delegation form not later than 10^th February 2015.
