Dear Sir/Madam,
Subject: Pharmexcil Delegation to Dublin, Ireland on 10th/11th October 2014 followed by CphI Worldwide, Paris.
We are glad to inform our member companies that the Council has received an invitation from our Embassy at Ireland seeking the possibilities of bringing a Delegation to Dublin, Ireland immediately after CphI worldwide.
Pharmexcil keeping in view, the market potential, would be keen to explore the business opportunities for its members and therefore agreed to organize a business delegation to Dublin after conclusion of CPhI World Wide Paris (7-9th October 2014) during 11/12 October 2014.
India’s export to Dublin during the year 2012-13 are to the tune of Rs.750 crores against Rs.690 during the year 2011-12 with a growth rate of 8% .
We propose to organise the following activities during the visit to Dublin, Ireland:
· B2B meetings between stake holders from India and Ireland
· A half day Seminar on Business opportunities and need for collaboration
· Interaction of Senior Govt. official, drug regulatory officials from India with Irish authorities
· Networking dinner hosted by Embassy
We understand from our Embassy that many big pharma companies are located in Ireland, but only a few of them from Ireland are participating in CphI Worldwide. Hence a delegation visit to Dublin could be a very good opportunity to showcase the strength of our Pharma sector to Ireland, especially in the generic drugs area. There is considerable scope for expanding our bilateral engagement in this important sector.
In view of the above, we request all our members companies to actively participate in the proposed delegation to Dublin, Ireland.
