Subject: Postponement of IPHEX Africa in Nigeria 24-26TH November 2014.

This has reference to our earlier circular regarding first edition of IPHEX Africa being organized in Lagos in Nigeria.

We thank our members for overwhelming support for this first edition of IPHEX in Africa.

Members are aware that outburst of Ebola Virus in four countries of West Africa (Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria, and Sierra Leone) has come as a major health challenge. WHO along with numerous NGOs and agencies are taking every possible step to contain this highly communicable and fatal disease. In this regards various advisory on traveling to these countries have also been issued by countries. Further the Govt. of Nigeria has also declared a National emergency in the country.

Due to the prevailing scenario with regards to Ebola, we have been advised to postpone the IPHEX-Africa.

After reviewing the progress on Ebola containment in next few months, Pharmexcil would be announcing new dates for the event.

Confirmed exhibitors can request for the getting their participation fee refunded or otherwise advise Pharmexcil to retain the amount in anticipation of their participation during rescheduled dates.
