Subject: Meeting with high level Ministerial delegation led by Health Minister of Romania at Ahmedabad(YMCA) and Mumbai(Hotel Orchid) on 9^th & 10^th January 2015.

We are  glad to inform that our Council received intimation from Embassy of India in Romania that a high level delegation led by Romanian Health Minister is visiting Ahmedabad and Mumbai on 9^th and 10^th January 2015 respectively. The delegation comprises of Senior officials from Ministry of Health / FDA ,Romania as per the following:

·         Mr. Nicolae BANICIOIU, Minister of Health, Government of Romania

·         Mr. Marius SAVU, President, Romania Drug Agency,Government of Romania

·         Mr. Mario CRETU, Counsellor, Ministry of Health,Government of Romania

·         Mrs. Roxana ROTOCOL, Counsellor, Ministry of Health, International      Department,  Government of Romania

Romania is  an important destination and one of the trade gateways for European Union, due to its accessibility to both Europe and CIS markets. Currently, India’s export of Pharmaceuticals is to the tune of USD 39 mn during the year 2013-14 and occupies 15^th position within EU region.

We would like to inform members that the delegation from Romania will be participating in the Business Meetings (BSM at Vibrant Gujarat,YMCA) organised by Pharmexcil on 9^th January 2015 at Ahmedabad and also in the Interactive meeting ( tentative ) at Mumbai(Hotel Orchid) on 10^th January 2015. 

In view of the above and the presence of Hon’ble Health Minister and Chief of Romanian FDA, we request members to take advantage of this opportunity. Interested members are requested to kindly send queries, if any, in advance and also register your participation by 8^th January 2015.

Note:

1)     The team will be available for Interaction for those who have registered for the BSM at Vibrant Gujarat, YMCA, Ahmedabad.

2)    There is no Registration free for attending the Interactive meeting at Mumbai (Hotel Orchid) on 10^th January 2015. The meeting will take place subject to adequate response from the member companies.
