MAGHREB PHARMA EXPO

Dear Sir/Madam,
We are glad to inform that Council is organizing India Pavilion at MAGHREB PHARMA EXPObeing held atHotel Hilton, Algiers, Algeria. This is the 1st time that Council is participating in the event. Maghreb Pharma Expo is mainly focused for APIs, excipients, nutraceuticals, pharma packaging, machinery etc. For more details about the event, members may visit their website http://www.maghrebpharma.com
Algeria is the 2nd largest market for drugs and pharmaceuticals in Africa, after South Africa. India's exports to Algeria stood at 57.14 US$ mn in 2013-14. Considering potential market available in Algeria, Council is participating in the above event.
India Pavilion:
Council offers independent stalls of 9 sq. meters each at Rs. 1.75 lakhs for each stall.
Since Council was allotted only 100 sq. meters space, there is no provision for smaller stands or Common Space in India Pavilion, for this year. All the stalls will be furnished with minimum furniture
Allotment of Stalls:
Members may note that since the event is focused for Pharma ingredients and also due to some constraints expressed by the organizers, allotment of stalls to members dealing with finished formulations is limited. Therefore, allotment of stalls to exporters of finished formulations is subject to prior clearance by the organizers. Such condition is not applicable to other exporters like APIs, nutraceuticals, herbals products etc.
Members may please click on the following links to see the overall floor plan of Maghreb and also India Pavilion. Members may select the stall and inform us their choice and the same will be reserved, if available. Stalls will be allotted to the members on first-come-first-serve basis. Members are required to make the full payment within 15 days of making reservation, failing which their reservation automatically gets cancelled. Cancellation is not allowed once the stall is allotted. Amount paid will be forfeited.

Assistance to the participants:
Subject to the approval of Ministry of Commerce, Govt. of India and also other rules of MDA scheme, members whose export turnover for the previous year is less than Rs.30 crores and has one year membership with the Council, will be eligible for financial assistance to the extent of Rs. 2.00 lakhs towards stall rentals and travel. MDA application & claims forms.
Since this is a unique opportunity to increase exports in West Africa, we advise the members to take part in the event. Interested members may confirm their participation immediately by selecting the stalls, on or before 10th June 2015
