Awards for companies who secured patents

during April 2014-March 2015

Pharmexcil Members,

Dear Sir/Madam,

We are pleased to inform that with the support of Government of India, Council is inviting applications for 7^th edition of Patent Awards.  Members who were granted with patents during the financial year 2014-15 from various country's patent offices are eligible for the awards.

Patents under the following 7 product groups under LSM/SME categories will be considered for awards:

Bulk Drugs/APIs

Formulations

Biotech products/Biotech research/Genomics

Herbal/ASU/Nutraceuticals

Medical Devices/Surgical/Diagnostics

NCEs/Drug Discovery

Others (Like excipients etc.,)

Members are advised to send the details of their granted patents as per enclosed format(CLICK HERE).  Members are also advised to send both soft copies (compulsory) and hard copy of the list of granted patents to patents@pharmexcil.com.

The awards will be declared based on the recommendations of the expert panel to be constituted for this purpose.

All the communications relating to Patent Awards 2014-15 are to be made to patents@pharmexcil.com.

NOTE:

1. List of patent awards for 2013-14 is enclosed (CLICK HERE) for information.
2. Members are advised to indicate all family patents as one patent.
3. The awards will be declared based on the guidelines framed and recommendations made by the expert panel to be constituted for this purpose. 
4. Please mention "Application for Patent Awards 2014-15" in the subject line in email submission.
5. Hard copy of application form along with copies of granted patents should be received at Head Office, Hyderabad.
6. Soft copy as excel format is enclosed(CLICK HERE)
7. Copy of certificate issued by granting authority for a patent has to be submitted compulsorily. 
8. Misleading information may lead to disqualification of the application.
