Subject: Two Day Work Shop on “Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and Regulatory Perspective for Pharma & Biotech Sectors” on 22nd & 23rd February, 2017, Chandigarh.
We are glad to inform that Pharmexcil is organizing workshop on "Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and Regulatory Perspective for Pharma & Biotech Sectors" supported by Department of Pharmaceuticals on 22nd & 23rd February, 2017, Chandigarh.
Other associates who have extended support to this workshop are CII,Chandigarh, Department of Pharmaceutical-Ministry of Health, GOI in association with Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh Regional Innovation & Knowledge Cluster (CRIKC), Cell for IPR Promotion and Management (CIPAM), GOI, Federation of Pharma Entrepreneurs (FOPE) & Himachal Pradesh Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (HPMA).
Objective of the Work Shop- India after joining WTO and with TRIPS Regime became "Pharmacy of the World" by taking Generic Leadership position. Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, has unleashed a dream with a cherished dream initiative of “Make in India” whilst exhorting all stakeholders to transform India to an ‘’Innovation Hub’’ going forwards wherein Academia & Institutions will play a very pivotal role in contributing to creating innovation in the country.
Patents, its compliance & Intellectual Property is proposed initiative of innovation in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector of Pharmaceutical industry.
The workshop will have deliberations on IPR topics followed by Panel discussion.
