As you may be aware that Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) was established in 1963 by the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India with the objective of imparting Management Education in International Business, conducting research on issues related to global economic environment and trade policies. In the recent past, IIFT has been consistently ranking amongst top 10 B-schools of the country. Under the aegis of its full fledged Management Development Program Division, the Institute is addressing the global issues in major areas viz. Export Import Procedures and Documentation, International Marketing, International Financial Management, WTO and Trade Policy, Skill Orientation and IT that are of vital interest to the corporate sector.
The Institute has announced 5-days Management Development Program on “Export Import Procedure & Documentation” scheduled to be held in the Institute's Campus in New Delhi during 3-7th August 2015 (Monday-Friday) under the Programme Directorship of the undersigned.
The programme will primarily focus on the topics such as Getting Started in International Trade- Formalities and Procedure; Market & Product Selection For International Markets; Export Promotion Measures Under FTP 2009-14; Enhancing Exports through Incentives; Understanding Export Import Documents; Methods Of Realizing Export Payments And Ensuring Guaranteed Export Payments; UCP 600 & Letter of Credit; Central Excise Clearance Formalities For Exports; Customs Regulations And Clearance Formalities For Exports & Imports; Duty Drawback–Claims Procedure; etc.
I am enclosing herewith detailed information about the above programme along with the registration/ nomination form. The programme fee per participant is Rs. 40,000/-(non-residential). The nominations should reach the Institute by 20th July 2015 alongwith Programme Fee.
